I was playing DiRT Showdown multiplayer with some of the folks from Codemasters earlier this week. I thought it would be fun to find out what they drove in real life.

Iaian Smith - Associate Producer - No car, just passed his driving test and is looking forward to the DiRT launch event in England where he will get to drive in a destruction derby.

Codemasters announced today that the insane tricks, stunts and crashes of DiRT Showdown will be available in retail locations on May 29, 2012 under the new "Codemasters Racing" label.



The DiRT Showdown playable demo will go live worldwide on May 1 on RaceNet -- Codemasters' new online community hub linking the publisher's racing games. A special "Hoonigan" edition of DiRT Showdown is now available for pre-order from Walmart, complete with unique in-game bonus items.



To commemorate the occasion, Codemasters has released the "Ultimate Hoonigan" gameplay trailer featuring Ken Block's Ford Fiesta H.F.H.V. Gymkhana 5 going head-to-head with a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X JUN.
