Operation Flashpoint Red River puts you into the shoes of a United States Marine on the frontline in Tajikistan. Though the scenario is fictional it is also believable and we're working close with many different sources to make Red River a completely immersive and authentic experience.

Part of the inspiration for the game came from Generation Kill, a seven episode series based on the writings of Evan Wright, a reporter who followed the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion of the United States Marine Corps during the 2003 invasion of Iraq.

Behind the scenes on Generation Kill was Susanna White, director on four of the seven episodes. A British director who started her career working on documentaries before moving on to period dramas and eventually Generation Kill, Susanna put together a great cast and ensured that it was one of the most stunning accounts of war seen on TV to date.
