If Survivor's Eye of the Tiger has popped in to your head then STOP! The incoherent mumbling sounds of Sylvester Stallone are nowhere to be heard, all we can hear are the familiar sounds of the Street Fighter and Tekken characters doing what they do best -- fighting! Capcom has pitted the icons of the Japanese fighting genre against each other in one mind blowing game and to celebrate the release of Street Fighter X Tekken on 9th March 2012, they are inviting fans to side up and battle it out. Are you ready to do what it takes to become a legend?
It's a campaign of Three Rounds:
Round One: Music! Top VJ producers Addictive TV will launch this in the second week of January. Can you produce the most 'banging' and 'punchy' tune to land a knockout blow to your opposition!
Round Two: Dance! Fight Club regulars, One Motion, have created videos of the most iconic moves from the game as inspiration for the dance off. Have you got the moves to body pop your way out of a Hadouken?
Round Three: Art! 30 exclusive character prints signed by the legendary producers Ono-san (Street Fighter) and Harada-san (Tekken) will be put up for charity auction in late January.
The winners from Round One and Round Two will be invited to a grand final to go head to head in the biggest battle since the Rumble In The Jungle. There will be a selected amount of tickets to the final event put up for charity auction too.
Capcom has chosen Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) registered charity 1110621, as the official charity for Street Fighter X Tekken. CALM aims to reduce suicide in men under 35, currently the biggest single cause of death for young men in the UK. By taking part in the Street Fighter X Tekken campaign you can help us raise awareness for CALM.
